People are generally good—it’s the people that are not generally good that we need to worry about. Why do people in the press and lawyers, politicians and some judges always fall in the second group? We must conclude that their line of work is an occupational hazard and that a constant rotation will assure a less corrupted group of men and women. When a bad man has long term power he learns how to magnify his power. By electing the less experienced we have those less experienced in doing bad. Only the good deserve long term positions! In this we must be very careful, if their voting record in congress will not reflect their words and those in the press lead us astray, and some judges make rulings against principle then as a group their word is no good.
