If we admire the wise and want to
be like them; one must realize that we can never really finds wisdom it does
not come in floods and torrents settling like rain on parched ground. It is not
turned on and off like a light switch. Wisdom come more like the morning dew—more
like a gentle breeze. Wisdom is generally a 2 AM brilliant thought that the
less wise marvel at and rather than writing it down discount it and roll over
and go back to sleep. Arising in the morning they just can’t quite remember
what the thought was. The wise scrounge for a piece of paper of any type, wipe
the sleep from their eyes and scribble down the thought so it is not lost. I
think that God has given wisdom to all men but because they will not write it
down when the light of God given thoughts come wisdom is misplaced.
