Bravery

A story from the annals of history. A General in the Middle East long ago had an interesting way to end a mans life that was sentenced for execution. He would bring the accursed in his office and offer him two choices, the firing squad, or the "Black Door". Each man would ponder the alternatives weighing the known death against the unknown death and would then chose the firing squad. On an occasion a visitor came to his office and asked about the black door and was told the above story. The visitor then asked what was behind the "Black Door" to which the General said "Freedom" but he had known only a few men brave enough to chose it.

Going Against the Tide

The hardest decisions in life usually always concern choosing a true course and following it. Some of these receive little if any opposition from the world. The hardest choices usually concern principal-- knowing when you are right and realizing  it goes against popular opinion, be leafs, and philosophies. Few men are brave enough to go against the flow, and persist against the tides of public sentiment and stand against popular opinion. Such men are slandered, persecuted, and put in dire circumstances, louse friends and family, wealth, prominence, connections and are generally hated and sometimes lose their life . Their legacy has been to create nations, preserve freedom, avert wars, revive morality and save the youth from many stumbling blocks of their time and leave the world a better place. Their rewards are sometime never realized until they have left mortality.

The Best Time to Fix What is Wrong in Washington

People are too much talk and not enough "DO" forty years ago people were complaining about the problems in Washington DC reaching a critical juncture, and yes it was true! Of course it has taken 100 years to get to the problems we face today. The best time to fight the problems we face today would have 100 years ago when people were encroaching on the constitution,  forty years ago would have been the second best time and the third best time would be to start today. There may not be a forth best time!

Wisdom

Wisdom is pure personal intellect that is distilled by God from the heavens upon the soles of men that is only kept in tact before we allow its corruption by our own peculiar opinion.
