Gas Prices

It is stupidly to believe that gas should be allowed to cost more than 50 to 85 cents a gallon

       It is stupidly to believe that there is not enough gas to go around when scientists, geologists, etc. have noted we own oil reserves as big in the Anwr reserve (Alaska) as in the Arabian Saudi oil fields yet now the U.S. Geological Survey NAGS calmed that the Anwr reserve is 99% smaller than its original estimates. Russia however is finding no problem in finding oil in the north just outside our Alaskan state boundaries and is sinking wells building super ice braking tankers and sucking the oil out as fast as they can. Obama's energy plan before being elected the first time was a tremendous hike in all energy prices so do not expect any mercy from him at the gas pump or at the negotiation table when it comes to lowering gas prices. Obama has over ridden congress passing a bill for pipe line from Canada to the Gulf Cost this would have given us all kinds of local oil and met our needs for years to come. What would this mean is that oil prices would have fallen. Obama has also given exclusive drilling rights to Brazil for off cost wells so we will have to be buying our own oil and choking at the gas pump.

Some years ago while taking classes in school I needed a temporary job and came up with a telemarketing job. The vote in congress was just about to take place before the decision to drill in the Anwr oil reserve. The target group we were calling before the vote was mostly old people. The telephone call script went something like this Hi I am Richard calling for the ___ Club and we are concerned about the environmental impact that drilling for oil will have on plant and animal life in the Anwr National Wild Life Reserve. The rest of the script was then a blood and tears sob story that was a basic all plant and animal life would be in danger from oil research and development in the Anwr. The punch line was “If you could talk to your congressman would you complain? With the answer yes I would key the call and say hold on I will connect you! I was to weight for the staff member to pick up and then disconnect. Weather you realize it or not each phone call to your congressman represent the sentiments of so many tens of thousands of voters. That night I knew I was helping to derail the vote that would come the next day. I finally took my job in my teeth—a percent of people would hang up even though they said they would complain  Knowing that the woman had hung up I kept asking for her with the congressional aid on the phone when he finally asked who I was I mentioned that I was connecting calls to their office and that I would let the aid talk to my supervisor. Razing my hand as the floor supervisor approached I took of my head set and held it up to his face and said the congressional aid wants to speak to you. My supervisor then said the aid is not to know that this is a complaint organized by a telemarketing firm and he leaned over and disconnected my call. I only hoped that aid had herd. I acted dumb and said it will not happen again.

Think for a moment if we have only a little oil available in the Anwr then what is the problem in using it until we can develop the technology to not need it? The government is said to already have hydrogen extraction generators (The ability to quickly separate hydrogen from water) which would eliminate the need for fuel for electricity production. The government is purposely shutting down profitable green energy producers. Wind generators are setting idle where the government will not allow the building of wires to transport the electricity. Trash recycling companies that have found a way to become profitable are closed on technicalities. Being green is only governmentally acceptable if it does not turn a profit and if it does not work.

   Back to oil the Utah oil reserves are said to be massive, the Rocky Mountain reserves are also said to be massive. Colorado oil shale according to the Rand Corporation “Advances in thermally conductive in-situ- conversion may enable shell derived oil to be competitive with crude oil prices at below $40 a barrel”. The US coastal oil reserves are also said to be no less formidable. Any of these are also said to dwarf middle eastern oil. When some wells were sunk off the US cost some wells are said to have 3000 PSI of oil pressure. Then why are our hands tied so we cannot develop them and why are we giving exclusive drilling rights to Brazil so we have to buy what we already own. Why are other nations drilling just off our 21mile marker and selling us oil at inflated prices. It happens so someone can make a lot of money. It happens because whoever is promoting present gas prices is organized and conspiring. We have forgotten that a few generations ago conspiracy was illegal and people organized to stop such men from picking a poor man’s pockets clean It is time we began to organize again.

 

Men who watch a nation die

We the unqualified being led by the lethargic trained by the slacker surrounded by the unwilling and malingering. Know how to do much but do not want to overdo it because people would expect us to do something more, when we are truly only willing to do nothing at all. We are surrounded with everything to accomplish our goals but we find it counterproductive to pursue a course when this would mean we would have to set some goals. With this firm doctrinal footing with everything in our hands to accomplish our task we will now attempt to do nothing at all surrounded by everything we need. Since our goal is to have no goal we are very comfortable with the knowledge that our chosen course of action will not apply to much strain. Let us limit all effort to lip service and grumblings where our complaints find no footing to achieve anything. With this as our solemn pledge let us speak boldly and forget what we promised at our next berth. Let us watch the ever increasing evils of our day with a “what can we do attitude”. Don’t ask us to lead, don’t ask us to follow but we are with you 100%. If by chance you find something we can do let us warn you now that we are busy. Politics elections and voting-- who has the time?

 We have a flag and wave it proudly on Veterans Day and the 4th of July we are grateful our forefathers sacrificed so that they left us a land of freedom! But let’s not get overly patriotic and surely lets not fix what is wrong in Washington as that’s a job for our children. END

The next time you are at the gas pump ask yourself how many hours you have to work each week to put in some gas and dedicate yourself for that time each week to change the world. Who knows we may see gas again at 35 cents a gallon. Our grandparents would not have stood still for what is going on in our country today, isn't it time we did not stand ideally by either. A simple gas protest would be to make stickers to stick on the gas pump with your senator, Governor, and state Representative phone numbers on them and stick them on a different gas pump and so people can call each of them while they filling their tank and are looking at the money your government is allowing some fat cat oil producer to take from your pocket. Its a simple suggestion but an effective approach.

Loading Better Ammo Than You Can Buy

Ammo from the factory is loaded by machine with varying sizes of powder measures giving a fairly close charge of powder. However this factory loaded ammo are not perfect as to powder weight. This can give discharges where the feet per second of the bullet can vary from shell to shell.   The silver cylinder in the front in the photo above is a powder trickler the powder measuring device is set up to throw a powder charge a little light and the light charge is placed in the scale behind. The powder trickler is positioned and the white handle is slowly turned dispersing the exact weight on to the scale. The powder is placed in the shell casing and put in the bullet board. When the bullet board is full each shell is checked with a flashlight to make sure you did not miss a charge or double charge a shell casing. The bullet is then seated and you have better more accurate ammo than you can buy. This is about as far as I go  when I want really good ammo. Unfortunately treason finds a way to hide behind an office let us do a comparison for such demanding statesman the British demanded disarmament at Lexington Green, the shot herd around the world. 7.62 X 39 Sticky Bullets Green Ammo

A few years ago while at a gun shop a man came in with his AK 47 locked up tight and nothing he could do would open the bolt. The lady behind the counter knew right away what the problem was and took his gun to the gunsmith in the back and in moments re-appeared with the gun empty and the bolt working well. The man with the gun knew what the problem was too and showed the ammo to the sales clerk and explained that as the gun started to heat up the varnish on the outside of the 7.62 X 39 shell casing would melt and lock the gun up tight. This ammo had been sent into the country at a time when there was a rush to buy some back-stock because of government pressures on ammo restrictions. This was not limited to 7.62 X 39 ammo but included any green ammo sent in at the time. The varnish is extremely hard to remove. Looking for an experiment I offered to buy the remaining shells from him but he gave me 4 or five and said he was going to throw them away any way. Taking them home I tried any number of solvents, and paint remover  to remove the plastic coating and nothing would touch it. Even a trip to my bench grinder wire wheel accomplished little more than to smear it around. I finally used a sharp knife and scraped it off but this was not really practical. In an emergency this would be your best use of this ammo. If this is note dun then after 10 rounds of rapid fire the last shell casing becomes stuck in place and the gun is useless. Even if you get it out the remaining glue will hamper gun use even if feeding it good ammo afterwords. Expect a big job in cleaning it out of the chamber.(Some older production ammo has a green paint and shoots perfictley fine the difference is that this bad ammo has a clear plastic coat.) The best non emergency use of this ammo is to buy it as components. Pull the bullet and reuse the powder and bullet in reloading ---through the green  shell casing away. In the photo above the two bullets on the left are the sticky bullets and the components will be used in my reloading the two bullets on the right are good ammo. These mixed bullets were marked down and too good a deal to pass up, more than 100 rounds for $10.

Don’t Read the Bible

People are saying that many good Christians are too fixated, crippled and captivated by the teachings of the Bible. They even go so far as to suggesting reading some other books accepting a fall of morality as normal natural and healthy would be better. George Washington taught that the Bible was the greatest book for the creation of good government. Connected to such statements were the words of many of the founders. If a downfall of morals is so great then let us look at where it has gotten us. Just a few decades ago most kids would graduate from high school went to college or got work and would not have sex before marriage. Divorce rates were low children had two parents of the opposite sex. There were hardly any children born out of wedlock in fact girls would leave town to have their baby and put the kid up for adoption, and other girls would not date the boys who got their class mate pregnant. Venereal diseases numbers were low, abortions were low, child poverty low. Because of a two parent home children had a stable environment and crime rates were low and church attendance was up.

The positive influence of not reading the Bible today, high school kids in some schools have a 1 in 3 ratio of venereal diseases, teen pregnancy are excepted as normal, abortion rates are up, (In NY city it is said that 40% of pregnancy  end in abortion) -- people who would like to adopt cannot get a child, 50% of children born today are without a father. These unwed mothers are given a home and food stamps and money at our expense and if they play their cards right will spend many years in semi-retirement and who pays for it we do; all they have to do is plop out another kid every now and then. Same sex marriage is opening the door for pedophiles seeking marriage and adoption so they can legally own their own child sex toy. There are so many downsides to not using the Bible as a moral yard stick you could write a book on the subject. Now that would be the book the critics should read.

   If you are not religious then looking at the destruction and fall of other nations from a historical perspective alone the moral decline of a nation is directly correlated to the downfall of a nation. Morality is the foundation of good government or the adhesive holding society together, without it there is no law or virtue. Buildings without foundations crumble and society without morale’s soon decay and pot-mark the world in abandoned heaps of shattered homes, loss of laws, governments and family.     

  The central role of religion is to remind people when they have gone astray. No one can say that current Christianity has ever supported the starting of brothels, gambling, vice, crime, etc. Weren't we better off when people spoke of their religions? Those wanting to shut up good Christians speaking of morals, values, honor, integrity, virtue need to reflect for a moment. Nations who have thrown away principle for passion neglecting what good Christians call the Bread of Life, would end up toast. If you do not believe in God then you must conclude it is a natural historical event and the only way to stop it is by adopting normal standards of morality. If morality will save this nation then why should you be so concerned if morality comes wrapped in the box of religion? For religious people we also know that the fall of nations come when society drops its standards. Both Christens and historians outlook are in total agreement on the decline of nations being related to declining morale’s; however Christians feel the decline is directly related to when God gets a belly full. Fractured Shell Casing Owning an Extractor

A shell casings can crack on occasion in normal shooting. Some because of being factory flaws and others because of other factors. Knowing why could be important depending on the gun. This copper washed steel shell casing shows a tare near the whole length of the body of the shell. First, most of these communist country imports are made of steel. The shell is Berdan primed meaning it is considered unreliable. (This is false-- difficult perhaps to reload but not impossible would be a better term but it must be shot in the gun it was fired in so as not to use any standard loading equipment. The primer must be rebuilt and I have re-shot these steel shell casings before in preparation for the first publication of one of my books. But this is not the topic of this post.) One of the first considerations on these Berdan cases is that the steel douse not act like brass. When a brass shell casing is fired it expands and then contracts making it the metal of choice as it makes for easier extraction. The communist country's changed to a steeper slope on the shell casing so the steel casings are easier to extract. Even at that the head (bottom part of the shell in the photo above with the rim) can be torn off and the remainder of the shell can be left in the gun. Even with brass shell casings. This necessitates the gun needing to be sent to a gunsmith to remove the remaining part of the shell or using a shell case extractor to pull out the part in the field. This would be a good investment no mater what gun you had and the device is 100% re-usable and generally is an inexpensive part that could save your life. It is the size of a normal bullet. It chambers like a bullet and on extraction it grabs the shell casing and extracts it using the ejector claw on the bolt. Some of the reasons for the head to tare off. 1)If reloaded ammo was sized short 2) head space problem in the gun 3) or a peculiar fluke like in the shell casing above. A tare like above is generally not critical as long as the gas is held in check in tell the bullet leaves the gun. But if the head would have torn it can releases up to 30,000 pounds of pressure in the bolt aria and the stock explodes. and it can cause sever injury. If your gun is having frequent shell case problems stop shooting it and  have it checked by a gun smith.

In the photo above at about where the bottom end of the crack is, is the place where the head of the case (at the bottom of the photo above) will tare off. Working Toward National Disarmament

Giving Up Personal Freedom---Only looking through the mirror of history do we have an answer for what is going on in the USA. In order to have a successful socialist shift to take over a country you need to preach a doctrine of the secret cell and tell people that they must give up some of their rights in order to catch the bad guy. The sad thing to note is that in Russia or Germany or China under communism in the end it has always been the government that was involved in the orchestration of terrorism in order to pass wide sweeping laws to disarm their people and enslave them. If you want to know who the enemies of liberty are look at those in politics and the press involved in preaching such false doctrine. This is how it is brought to a conclusion! Create a bad guy or blow up a small unusual incident --make laws against the bad guy---turn the laws so they can disarm the nation---the average citizen is labeled the bad guy for not conforming to government mandates for disarmament.---finally organize a special police force (KGB or Gestapo) who function outside of present restrictions of normal law --- the former laws are removed and the attack begins on law abiding citizens.
